The Beach Boys have canceled their scheduled performance at the Wisconsin State Fair. The group was set to take the stage on August 16, which marks the final day of the annual event.

State Fair representatives confirmed the cancellation on Wednesday. Organizers stated there will be no replacement act scheduled for the Bank Five Nine Main Stage. The band released a brief statement regarding the decision to cancel, noting that they are taking a short break from their current schedule.

Attendees who purchased tickets for the concert are expected to receive refunds. The Wisconsin State Fair remains scheduled to open on August 6 as planned.
