Beasley Media Group is shifting its broadcast portfolio. The company announced the sale of two FM signals to the Educational Media Foundation, known as the operator of the K-Love network. The transaction involves WNKS-FM in Charlotte, North Carolina, and KXTE-FM in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both deals await standard regulatory approvals and are expected to close in mid-October.
Changes to station lineups accompany this transfer. In Charlotte, the popular morning program Maney and LauRen will move from WNKS-FM to the sister station WKQC-FM, where they will continue their regular broadcast schedule. Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, the alternative programming currently on KXTE-FM will migrate to the KVGS-FM signal. This move ensures the existing format and brand remain available to the local audience after the sale concludes.
CEO Caroline Beasley stated that these moves align with the company's broader strategy for portfolio management. The goal is to retain local brand strength and personality-driven content while adjusting the company's asset holdings. Educational Media Foundation representatives expressed intent to incorporate the new signals into their existing network of Christian contemporary stations in those markets.
