‘Ted Lasso’ Is Back With Season 4 Trailer
Apple TV has confirmed the return of Ted Lasso for a fourth season. The streaming service released the official trailer this week, signaling that the series will continue despite earlier speculation that the story had concluded. The new season consists of 10 episodes, with the premiere set for August 5. New episodes will roll out weekly on Wednesdays through October 7.
Jason Sudeikis returns as the lead character, taking on a new assignment involving a second division women’s football team in Richmond. Most of the original cast members are also back, including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, and Brendan Hunt. They are joined by a fresh group of actors such as Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, and Faye Marsay.
The production team remains largely unchanged, with Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, and other original writers leading the creative direction. Jack Burditt joins the executive production team for this installment under an updated deal with the platform. While the show previously secured two consecutive Emmy wins for its comedy output, this fourth season represents a shift in focus for the main character.
Fans should prepare for the rollout starting next month. Apple TV continues to prioritize this property as a primary component of its entertainment lineup. The transition from men’s professional football to women’s league coaching serves as the central premise for the new episodes.
