Lincoln police issued a warning on Friday regarding a bear sighting in the Sun City Lincoln Hills neighborhood. The animal was spotted near Wagon Wheel Lane and Overland Lane, with a final reported location near the intersection of Oak Tree Lane and Highway 193.
Local authorities have notified state wildlife officials about the situation. Fortunately, there are no reports of aggressive behavior from the bear at this time.
This incident is part of a string of recent bear activity across Placer County. Law enforcement agencies in Roseville and Rocklin also issued similar public warnings earlier this week.
