Carson Kvapil scores first career O’Reilly Series win at Indianapolis

Carson Kvapil claimed his first career victory in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series this Saturday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Driving the No. 1 car for JR Motorsports, Kvapil maintained his lead to finish 0.643 seconds ahead of teammate and current points leader Justin Allgaier.

This win marks a significant moment for the team as JR Motorsports secured the top four finishing positions at the historic 2.5-mile track. Cup regulars Ross Chastain and Chase Elliott joined Kvapil and Allgaier to complete the sweep. This result represents the first time in the history of the O’Reilly Series that a single team has occupied the top four spots in the final order.

Elsewhere on the track, William Sawalich finished in fifth place. Rounding out the top 10 were Brent Crews, Corey Day, Sheldon Creed, Brandon Jones, and Austin Hill. While Jeremy Clements and Rajah Caruth secured the first two stages, both faced challenges later in the race, with Clements finishing 37th after mechanical trouble.

The series now heads toward the final stretch before the Chase begins at Darlington Raceway. Only two events remain on the schedule. Fans can catch the next race at Iowa Speedway on August 8 at 5 p.m. ET.
