Nick Sanchez joins Spire Motorsports for Indianapolis
Nick Sanchez is confirmed to race for Spire Motorsports at the upcoming event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He will pilot the No. 77 Delaware Life Chevrolet Silverado RST in the Friday CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race.
This appearance marks a return for the 25-year-old driver to a familiar team. Sanchez previously competed with this organization during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. He currently holds a record of two wins and 13 top-five finishes across 47 career starts in the series.
Sanchez will maintain a busy schedule throughout the weekend. In addition to his commitment with Spire Motorsports, he is set to drive the No. 87 Chevrolet for Peterson Racing during the Saturday NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race. This double-duty effort keeps him in the cockpit for two major events at the track.
The driver noted that his history with the team helps him prepare. Having worked with this crew during his previous stint, he expects a quick adjustment to their setup process and operational goals for the Indianapolis race. His past performance at the Indianapolis Raceway Park includes top-10 finishes in both Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series competition.
