Men's Basketball 2026-27 Schedule Announced
The Florida Gators have released their 2026-27 men's basketball schedule. Coach Todd Golden enters his fifth season with a roster that retains 81.8% of its scoring from the previous campaign. This year, the team plays 16 home games at the O'Connell Center.
The nonconference schedule features high-profile matchups. The Gators start the season against Miami on November 2 in Tampa. Following a home opener against Jacksonville on November 5, the team travels to Las Vegas for the Players Era 8 tournament, which takes place November 17-19. A major highlight in Gainesville is the SEC-ACC Challenge, where the Gators will host Duke on December 1.
SEC conference play includes a slate of Saturday home games. Fans can catch the Gators at home against Vanderbilt, Texas, Missouri, Georgia, and Kentucky, with the latter serving as the Senior Day finale. The midweek schedule brings teams like Oklahoma, Texas A&M, South Carolina, and Ole Miss to Gainesville.
Returning key starters include Rueben Chinyelu, Alex Condon, and Thomas Haugh. The team maintains stability with six of their eight primary rotation players back on the court. Tickets are currently available for purchase.
Those interested in securing seats for the upcoming season can place a $100 deposit per seat. Current season ticket holders from the 2025-26 season will receive separate renewal information to retain their existing spots. The athletic department plans to announce specific game times and the full SEC midweek broadcast schedule in the near future.
