Brown noted that as a rookie, he struggled with such direct feedback. However, he now recognizes the intent behind the coach's approach. He explained that Vrabel expects high-level execution on every snap. Brown acknowledged that he failed to secure the ball after making the difficult part of the catch, and he appreciates the standard set by the coaching staff.

The trade that brought Brown to New England occurred on June 1. Since arriving, he has dedicated himself to learning the playbook and establishing a connection with Maye. Brown reported that he has mastered roughly 90 percent of the offensive system. He specifically enjoys the variety within the scheme coordinated by Josh McDaniels.

While the pair is still working on timing and communication, the focus remains on progress. Brown pointed to a recent practice where an adjustment was needed on a downfield route, highlighting the need for precise execution. He noted that the team is pushing for accountability and high energy during every session.
