Viture has officially released the Pro 2, positioning it as their lightest and thinnest augmented reality glasses to date. Priced at $300, the headset arrives with significant hardware updates to the optical stack. The company describes this system as UltraClarity 3.0, which improves image sharpness, field curvature, and stability across the 50-degree field of view. These glasses feature dual Sony micro-OLED displays capable of a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak perceived brightness of 1,600 nits. Users can adjust the diopters from 0 to -5.00D using independent dials for each eye.
While the device offers high-quality visuals, it is important to note that the Pro 2 remains a tethered experience. It lacks onboard camera sensors for 6DOF spatial tracking, meaning the virtual screen cannot be pinned to a specific physical location in your room. The headset connects via a USB-C cable attached at the left temple. This design choice maintains the thin profile and low weight of 63 grams, a 20 percent reduction compared to the previous Pro model.
Alongside the new eyewear, Viture launched the Mobile Dock Mini for $100. This accessory is a compact USB-C hub and battery pack designed to support devices like the Nintendo Switch 2. The unit features a 10,000 mAh battery and is significantly smaller than previous iterations. It offers two operation settings: Hug Mode, which attaches magnetically to the back of a Switch 2, and Solo Mode, which functions as a standard portable hub for various electronics.
The Pro 2 is currently available for purchase through Viture and Amazon. The package includes a lens shade for users who require higher immersion levels during gaming or media consumption. The Mobile Dock Mini is open for pre-orders as part of the company's five-year anniversary rollout. These updates reflect a clear focus on portability and hardware refinement for users who prioritize weight and display clarity over standalone spatial computing features.
