ABV Gallery in East Atlanta Village is currently hosting two distinct art exhibitions that capture the spirit and history of the city. Through August 9, visitors can view Locals Only and Six by Six, shows that highlight the work of local and international creators.

Locals Only focuses exclusively on metro Atlanta artists. Featuring more than 40 different viewpoints, the collection presents imagery that residents will recognize as part of the local experience. The gallery space also includes a collaboration with the Fernbank Museum to incorporate dinosaur sculptures in honor of the current Dinosaur Summer program.

While Locals Only highlights the local scene, the Six by Six exhibit brings in artists from around the world. These creators are restricted to a six-inch-square canvas, creating a unique constraint that tests their ability to capture complex subjects in a confined format. Both exhibitions demonstrate the variety of artistic styles present in the metro area.

For those interested in visiting, ABV Gallery is located at 1206 Metropolitan Ave SE in East Atlanta Village. The gallery remains open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. More information is available on the official gallery website.
