Iron Maiden thank fans who attended Eddfest – and reveal that the festival dive bar was a victim of crime

Iron Maiden recently shared a six-minute behind-the-scenes video from Eddfest, their festival at Knebworth Park. The footage provides an intimate look at the event, featuring band leader Steve Harris as he walks through the various exhibits and archives. Harris expressed his appreciation for the displays, which showcased the band's extensive history and career artifacts.

Alongside the highlights of the performances, the band took time to thank the fans who attended the event, as well as the crew and partners who helped bring the festival to life. The video captures the atmosphere of the site, including glimpses of the Infinite Dreams Experience and the Unfair Funfair, alongside live footage from the weekend.

However, the band also noted an unfortunate incident that occurred during the festival. They revealed that the Iron Maiden-branded parasols located at Eddie's Dive Bar were stolen on the opening night. In their commentary accompanying the video, the band expressed clear disappointment regarding the theft, stating that the action was not acceptable.

With Eddfest concluded, the band is now preparing for the North American leg of their Run For Your Lives tour. The tour is scheduled to begin in Toronto at the end of August before moving through Central and South America, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan.
