Phoebe Bridgers is hosting exclusive listening parties for her upcoming third studio album, Lost Weekend, at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. The events run from August 11 through August 14.
Fans who attend will hear the new tracks while viewing night sky visuals projected by photographer Babak Tafreshi. The footage includes scenes from over 20 countries, such as Iceland and Madagascar, providing a visual backdrop intended to connect the audience to the universe.
Tickets for the earlier dates sold out quickly, but spots remain for three time slots on the final day, August 14. Each ticket is priced at 40 dollars. These listening sessions are phone-free environments, with attendees required to secure their devices in Yondr pouches upon entry. This measure aligns with the singer’s recent live performance standards.
The project arrives six years after her previous solo release. The album features sixteen tracks, and the event does not include a personal appearance by Bridgers. For those interested in attending, tickets are available through the Adler Planetarium event portal.
