SiriusXM has officially appointed Jenny Tartikoff as their new senior vice president and head of communications. She arrives at the company following previous leadership roles at Paramount Pictures and Spotify.
In her new capacity, Tartikoff will oversee the company's internal and external public relations strategy. She reports directly to president and chief content officer Scott Greenstein. Her tenure begins August 10, filling the position left vacant by Maggie Mitchell earlier this year.
Greenstein stated that her background across streaming, podcasting, and advertising makes her a natural fit for the organization. He expects her experience to assist the company in its mission to remain a destination for audio content and audience engagement. Tartikoff brings a history of corporate communications work from her time at Universal Filmed Entertainment Group and the PR firm Rubenstein.
This leadership change happens as SiriusXM seeks to maintain its position within the competitive audio sector. The company manages a variety of brands and platforms, and Tartikoff plans to focus on amplifying those specific stories. Her work history includes managing corporate messaging for major studios and entertainment networks, which aligns with the company’s focus on music, voices, and cultural moments.
