The CW Network and ESPN set August 4 launch for CW Sports live streaming on the ESPN App
The CW Network and ESPN begin a new partnership on August 4, bringing CW Sports content directly to the ESPN App. This agreement provides ESPN Unlimited subscribers access to over 800 hours of live programming annually. Viewers can watch these events across mobile and connected TV devices, creating a single access point for sports fans alongside existing broadcast options.
The launch starts with the WWE NXT event on August 4. NASCAR fans will find coverage of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series races from Iowa Speedway on August 8, followed by a broadcast from Daytona International Speedway on August 28. These additions strengthen the existing library of events on the app.
College sports fans will see an expanded schedule as well. The CW kicks off its college football season on August 29 with the New Mexico State and Florida State matchup. This joins a broad list of existing sports, including basketball from the ACC, Pac-12, and Mountain West conferences.
This integration aims to simplify the viewing experience for audiences who prefer digital access.
